A few things I’ve worked on.
A selection of projects from Good Sorts and my earlier agency and in-house roles.
Good Sorts Marketing Projects
GOOGLE ADS | TOURISM & WEDDINGSMaking a new wedding venue easier to find
A new venue wanted to attract wedding enquiries and bring in accommodation bookings. I built separate Google Search campaigns so couples looking for a venue and travellers looking for a stay each saw ads that made sense for them.
In the first three months of the campaign 54% of website traffic came from Google Ads. Greatly increasing visibility for the new brand.
GOOGLE ADS | RETAIL & E-COMMERCEPutting a local florist’s bouquets in front of more shoppers
A local florist wanted to show up more often on Google, where its main rival was appearing more frequently in Search and Shopping results. I used Search ads to reach people looking for local flower delivery and Shopping ads to show shoppers the bouquets they could order.
Over two months, the florist beat its main local rival for visibility on Google Shopping. Its bouquet ads showed up in nearly 9 out of 10 opportunities to appear.
GOOGLE ADS | HEALTH & WELLBEINGMaking Google Ads the main source of visits for a nutrition practice
A registered nutritionist wanted to reach more people looking for help with gut health, hormones and other nutrition concerns. I set up Google Search ads and refined the campaign based on what people were searching for and which ads led them to the booking page.
In the first month, Google Ads brought in two-thirds of all website visits and produced strong leads for the small business.
Work from previous roles
MEDIA STRATEGY | AGENCYIntroducing a design platform to more Canadians
A creative software company wanted more Canadians to know about its design tools and see what they could make with them. As the agency’s main client contact, I helped plan a campaign that used TV, online video and audio to introduce the platform and show what it could do.
Awareness increased by 11% across Canada and the account received 10 out of 10 for client satisfaction.
MEDIA STRATEGY | AGENCYBuilding trust in a global resources business
A global resources business wanted to improve how it was seen in Canada. I used audience research and past campaign results to shape the media plan, with different approaches for national opinion leaders and local communities.
Brand advocacy for the business in Canada rose by 8% which is a great result for such a divisive brand.
BRAND STRATEGY | IN-HOUSERebranding six solar branches
Six South Island solar branches were already part of the same group, but each still traded under a location-based name. As the in-house marketing manager, I led the move to a shared name and worked with branch teams and suppliers to rebrand everything from websites to signage and vehicles.
The new name and branding were rolled out across all six branches within six months.
